Whats the best way i can run a lookup myself? its just im really not convinced lol

actually looking at it might be using the Hostname of the server...

My server hostname is monty.xdnet.co.uk which i guess could be where the xdnet.co.uk comes from?

But if that is the case dont know why only some of the domains on my server return with xdnet.co.uk very weird and totally unreliable...

Nope, I'm telling you, it's the IP. If I do a reverse IP lookup of whatever IP on my server, I get the same results as that same tool - which is not "bldhosting.net".

I haven't contacted my datacentre yet : (.

Why don't you ask them. They are breaking the RFC's.

I did for my server, because the day I wanted to set it as a slave DNS server, I had errors from the master, as the reverse lookup was failing.
They added the reverse map in the hours after my request.

I personally host my own websites, the ip was correct, but that was all the information given.

So then its going on the hostname of the server? (in my case monty.xdnet.co.uk)
