We currently use http://www.ligowave.com (built off of willibox) to run our public AP. We are very satisfied with the product and were wondering of anyone else has used a Ligowave based AP?

Also, what other AP's would you recommend and why?...ease of use/security features etc...

Thanks in advance,
Dave

It of course depends on what exactly you are trying to accomplish with your wireless set up. For most of my customers the question was the range and strength of signal. The security is mostly standard on all of them and for the most part it will be fine. I used Engenius products which have excellent range as they boost their signal to 800mW levels without any amplifiers and they are still under the 1000mW which would require special permits.
