My other computer just wont load anymore.
I want to just wipe the whole thing and start new with linux as the operating system.

Anyone know how to do this?
Can you give me step by step instructions?!

And windows wont even load. But i can prob get in through safe mode.

And I am on my other computer with internet.

I suggest you check out Ubuntu - it's a great way to get started using Linux and it has a lot of support.

I installed ubuntu but im having a problem.
I log in but then i just see a brown background and a cursor and i cant do anything.

I had an old one in the basement that I intended to load it on and play but when I read the hardware requirements the machine did not meet them.

Did you make sure your machine met the miniimun hardware specs?

Well have you tried to re install the OS once more? But first I would like to know if you have partitioned it first the HDD andthen install the Linux to the new partition. Well did you do it like that?
