I have gone several years without ever getting a virus on my computer. In the last couple of weeks I have had three. One called adclickker, and one called Real AV and one called fake alert. Each time I have had to use Malwarebytes to clean out my system. I don't visit any questionable sites either. The places I seem to have caught them all are legitimate big time sites. I use Norton Anti-virus and in the past it seems to be able to stop everything. Now everything seems to be getting through. Is there anything out there I can install to keep these annoying viruses off my computer?

You have run full scans periodically plus get the updates to get Norton working properly.

I have done all that. I scan once a week and get all the latest updates. The thing is once the viruses get on they shut down Norton, and I have to clean up in safe mode.
