I'm having this problem in my computer. . . some files, program and also some website are automatically shut down. Its weird cause most of the website I use are working. There are times when I open a certain site it automatically shutdown, don't know the reason behind this.

Maybe there is a virus in my computer, but every time I tried to download or run a scanner it won't run and shutdown the browser! This affect my work.

Also there are files that are automatically appear in every folders in my docs. When you delete it, it goes back again.

What seems to be the problem? I tried to do system restore but its been close and I never close that. . . I tried to open it and I can't open it, it shutdown the window that I should use to open it.

What will I do with this to fix this problem? I'm worried that this might cause too much when it last.

Sounds like a virus or other malware infection.

Running Nortons as your AV by some chance?

Sounds like it would be a case for a manual clean up, not something to be attempted unless you really know your way around PCs, malware and operating systems.

I think malware is your problem. I just helped my brother-in-law with the same problem. Norton would not run or update.

The free version of malwarebytes took care of the problem when another spware program failed to find anything. It got most of them on the first run and caught one final one on the second scan after reboot.

Post back and let us know what happens.

edit: You may have to manually terminate some processes before it will run. What is happening is that your cpu usage is hitting 100% and staying there causing programs to crash. Open task manager and look for the ones with the highest usage and close a couple of them before you run the program.

When cpu usage drops to 40% or less you are ready to run it.

I tried AVG7 on this, I updated it and see the virus and its a "worm". . . its been deleted but after rebooting my pc it would but,it always go back to log off while trying to access my account.
I see myself re-formating my computer. . . and its working fine now, bad thing is "all my files are gone" I can't find time to back it up cause I can't log in to my account.

I would use the newest AVG version 8 and also AdAware AE and SuperAntiSpyware. You might even try the latest version of SpyBot. I think it's at v1.6 now. Not entirely sure.

Have you tried opening your PC on safe mode? Maybe you can use system restore there.

Stay away from bad sites, that is my first suggestion for you. If that doesn't work, update your anti virus software

I think he just lost his data according to him. And he's looking for a way to retrieve them.

maybe this time try to have a back-up drive so next time you have this same problem, you won't lose your files. I have had this sort of problem before, and that's what also happened. That's why I now keep a backup drive for my important files, and i just update this drive every weekend.

Malwarebytes, definately!! A lot of other ones will tell you theres a problem and for $29.99 you can get their program. Malwarebytes is not like that. I've tried a lot of them.
