i try to invite the account with the same account im using then i logged it out, after I'll logged in again my whole messenger list was deleted and every time i log in the invite message prompted me if i want to accept my account and all messenger list deleted again..

Why are you trying to invite yourself?

well I'm just trying to view my account on my contact list...i dont know how to recover my list its totally deleted, its kinda weird. anyone know how its happen?

I was under the impression you could view your account's profile via the messenger? Am I totally wrong with that? It's been a while since i actually used it, but i could have sworn you should have been able to do that at least at one time.

I haven't tried to do the same thing that you do on your yahoo messenger I'm afraid to get the same error that you've encountered.

And why are you trying to add your own account on your contact list? You can add your own account on your email contact list.

when adding own account to the messenger list, its definitely appear to your window including your display image, status message etc..i know that it is the same above the window but its more comfortable for me when i see it in the messenger list with other contacts... don't be afraid if you encounter with the same problem, my messenger is ok right now and if your messenger list accidentally deleted, check your address book..all the contact information maybe found in there.

hahaha, ok, it's good that you already have the solution to your trouble, but I was trying to understand why do you want yo have your own invitation in your OWN list?

If you want to see your name in your contact list than instead of inviting you should add your self direct and you will be see your name as well.

I also do with my account so that I will be able to see when I put something on my status bar.

i also have my own account added on my friend's list, but I did the invitation i think 5 years ago, i'm not sure because it has been a long time since then. same as charliek2, i want to view my status message, or how my avatar looks like in the list.

my problem about yahoo messenger is that... whenever I send a message I cannot see my message.. no messages display... and when someone reply to it, I also cannot see the message... I wonder why... have you tried this one... I am experiencing this lately
