Hello!
I have a PC running Windows 2000 and I'd like to upgrade it to either XP or Vista. I was hoping for XP since thats what I run on mine, but can't find which version to use for updating. I don't want to lose everything on the system.
Does anyone know what version I would use?

XP Pro "should" upgrade (if you can call it upgrading to a less stable OS

) from 2000 and import your settings.

XP Home definitely will not.

Vista will definitely NOT upgrade from Windows 2000.

There are some KB articles on upgrading, when I find them I'll post the links.

Thanks for the articles. It looks like we can upgrade to xp, she'll just have to add all of her stuff back in. She (my wife) was hoping to just upgrade.
