You probably need a better anti virus. I recommend Norton.

If all else fail why don't you just reformat your PC. It would be better if you just create a back up for all your files and reformat your PC. I have read the post in those sites and the instruction is so long. If your a newbie like me then you can get lost in the instructions.

download VundoFix.exe to your desktop
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

I recommend kaspersky, avg, Mcafee.... but would never ever touch norton EVER

Sometimes you have to run your anti-malware apps in safe mode in order to remove some viruses and trojans.

I've had problems with both Norton and McAfee. Avast and AVG are just as good.

Yes I agree with John. Kaspersky is the best solution to your problem.

i had this virus and trust me it was a pain to get rid of. i followed a countless number of instructions and tried different malware/spyware/antivirus programs but after it said it was cleaned, it would always come back. even in safe mode. so here's a piece of advice, head over to http://spywarehammer.com/ and post a topic, the guy there who runs the thing will actually take time to help you through it
