OK Guys,
I've gotten really frustrated with my antivirus setup on my computer, here's what's going on:
I have Windows Vista and had a 3 month trial subscription to Trend Micro PC-cillin. So I decided to renew it and I ordered the "3yr - Trend Micro Internet Security for Dell" and "Extended Download Service".
So I follow the instructions I got in the email order and tried to install the program via the executable file I downloaded. After I did this, it wasn't doing anything and seemed to be conflicting with something on my machine, I wasn't sure, as the file mentioned to "install the full version".
So I presumed that the problem was that I already had the trial version installed on my computer. So I removed the software via my control panel and restarted my machine. Then I go through the process again and the following alert pops up:
Quote:
Unable to Install the Software.
Please try downloading the installation program again.

...and that's it. No display errors or telling me where exactly the problem's source is occurring from.
I already tried removing and redownloading the installation package numerous times. I also looked into many online "Help guides" and FAQs and ended up nowhere.
I'm completely lost on what to do. Any Ideas?
