What laptop brand would you choose if you were me, DELL or APPLE??
And why? The thing is that I plan to buy new laptop and hesitate on what brand to choose.

Hp, Toshiba, Acer etc etc are all perfectly capable machines

Your real question is probably Windows or Mac. Any computer running Windows is way more susceptible to viruses, trojans and spyware and need anti virus software to try to control these.

I may receive flack from Windows users when I say Mac is your clear choice but we have many clients who spend a lot of time messing with spyware on their PCs and often lose their hard drives over it. I've never even used anti virus software on any of my Macs for 15 years and never got a virus ...

I have my Acer laptop and iam satisfied with its performance. You should extend your choice as well. But if i had to choose from both of them i would have liked Dell.

It depends on your application you want to run. Both are good.

I would go for dell, I have dell at home and so far it is great.

I think Dell hardware is more reliable then apple I'll obviously go for Dell.

I have a Dell Latitude E6500 lap.. awesome 4gigs ram 250gb hdd. I dual boot winxp with vmware workstation - run a few vms at once, a vista, win7,win xp and a 2k3 vm. Second OS is Back-Track 4...for obvious reasons.... Great laptop. I also have an Acer AOD250 I think it is, netbook, run back-track on that as well. Both a great laptops...or netbook in the acers case...

btw..the dell has an nvidia quadro.. not that ati integrated crap

I work on Windows, been using dell for years now. Good computers for the price.

What will you be using the laptop for exactly? Will you be gaming, designing, coding or just surfing the web?

What will you be using the laptop for and what is your budget?

I personally choose Apple. Because Dell's customer service is very poor. I think Apple is great with their service and computer quality, but their prices are too high for me. I think the real comparison is between Mac and Windows. Apple computers with an Intel Processor can also have Windows installed on them if you need to run any programs that require Windows or provide more features than their Mac version.

Both the laptops are very nice but i would like to prefer that you should go for DELL. I am using DELL's laptop. Believe me its the best.

What about an Alienware?? it the worlds most extreme Gaming PC

The apple computer will be higher quality than the dell, but the dell will likely work just fine.
If it is worth it to be able to run MacOS, then the price difference would be jusitifies. Otherwise, it is a horse apiece.

I'm using MSI laptop but from that two hmm... I'll go to DELL.

For me Dell is better as for two reasons , performance wise and the long life

I will go for DELL.
