Hi! Unfortunately all I have right now is Norton Internet Security 2007. The best feature of a antivirus program would have to be how easy it is to use. A lot of people can get easily confused when they don’t know very much about viruses and where they attack. An antivirus program that does the dirty work and makes it easy for you!

Though Norton is these days more optimized for a lower consumption I still don't trust them. I keep my computer secured by Avira, they are the best free software out there.

I have been using Norton for a year. No problems so far. Resource usage is always kept low, never above 10% during idle.

Norton got to be a real hassle for me. I switched to Trend Micro PC-cillin and haven't looked back. It's been outstanding!

See friend Norton does not work in a computer friendly environment.it sucks the soul of it .i don't think that a paid anti virus will not harm my PC.Instead i prefer PC's to have free anti viruses with light interface along with a good malware for complete protection
like:
Avast
AVG
Cloud etc

For off line users who cannot update their database timely
they should use Gdata anti virus.the definitions it has detects any virus without update by their common class for example Trojan their are many types of this virus.it removes any Trojan.

for a malware i will prefer
Malwarebyte's antimalware its simple lite and cool
any external deice scanned with it, all the viruses are gone out of it.
Take care.,.....!!!

Norton is a good anti virus. I used it once but due to that the speed of my computer decreased very much so i switched to Avast and its working great since then. The main problem with Norton is that it requires a very high quality processor, RAM etc otherwise your computer will be very safe but you can't work on it due to its slow speed.

I don't use Norton mainly because it uses too much memory and so many updates and pop-ups. So far I'm good with my AVG, I'm not visiting restricted websites anyways, why worry?

Norton works fine. But it will use up too much of your computer power. I would just use the free virus software such as Avast or Panda. Both do a good job and use much less processing power.
