Anybody used the software Team Viewer? I have used this software for remote desktop connection. Its really a great tool to connect any pc any where. It not require any unique IP. Just run the software get the ID and Pass. Thats all. Hope you will enjoy this.

Remote desktop connection is also free and comes with windows. It gets the job done for me...

I believe that is for kind of users which have coputer at hoem and at work and need to connect to home PC from work time by time

so they are not "home users" then! That is a Commercial use of software.

"home users" are ones who will NOT be using it for business purposes.

VNC (Viewer and Server) or TightVNC. As others have said Remote Desktop or RDP comes with Windows and works well.

Team viewer is a easy to use software for remote desktop connection. You can very easily connect to any PC remotely through it.

i use that when im not at home, and i need to copy file from my pc, i will just call at home to tell my brother to turn on the pc and run TeamViewer , very useful software

Team Viewer is what I use also when needed to remote connection. A great tool indeed, easy to use and user friendly built.

You can't really compare TeamViewer to RDP or VNC. No ports to forward or open in the firewall, etc. Free version is good to go as long as you're not using it to make money or support server operating systems. If a non-techie friend calls because he can't figure something out it's an easy way to get the job done.
