I heard a lot about google chrome operating system.
It is officially release in second half of the 2010.
Its a open source operating system and have many features just like Windows System have.
Search giant Google is once again ready to take on Microsoft with its new operating system.

This is good for those who usually use internet for browsing the net. And I guess all people involve in webmaster will not like it. SIMPLY because we need more applications to help our websites. Like those software tools and etc. In short they don't target us as their user.

Alton, can you give us supporting article about this? Thanks. This is quite interesting and I guess this operating system by Google will have a partnership with Microsoft.

A partnership with Microsoft???

M$'s idea of a "partnership" would be to buy it and bury it!

People has gotten used to windows, no other operating system will ever be above windows, a lot of people may use chromium but i do not think it will ever be competition for Microsoft.

I know Google hires marketing professionals who do their job extremely well, but there is no way that Google OS will become popular. If I remember right, it had to be released years ago. Even today (with lots of changes from previous alpha releases) it still sucks a lot.

Basically, it's not OS, it's just some type of shortcuts to ALL Google services.

That is correct google cannot overtake the popular existing OS but.. if they are really launching this OS and i heard it will be totally internet based operating system and installed in the google server not in your system, how people will be able to use when there is no internet connection!!

I prefer to wait little bit for official reviews.

I think this ChromeOS is pathetic, and just an excuse for Google to get us to use their services. I'd rather stick to a proper OS like Windows or Mac.

Nobody knows... But Google tracks everything they can, so I wouldn't be surprised if Chrome tracks your activity as well. That's why I don't use Google software.

The fact is that even this stupid OS will find thousands of persons who will love it (no matter how terrible it is).

Its far from being an operating system for the normal user.

Google needs to work out a lot more.

I read an article about Chrome OS. It was saying it will be fully open sourced like Linux so that people can contribute on its development. means codes will be free for everyone....

Yes i have heard alot about Google Chromium Operating System but will it be able to overpower Microsoft's existing OS's.. that thing time will only tell. I will surely give it a try as its a Google thing.

I also Liston about this operating system. Google Chrome New Operating System is not launched yet.
