There should be a wide choice of screen cleaning wipes in your local supermarket. These do remove all s**t easily.

shoot, I have 3 laptops and 2 monitors...I've always used a microfiber cloth on them since it attracts the dust and stuff...I've also used paper towels with a little windex...never had any problems.. spray on the paper towel though, not the panel. Clean your smudges, then use the cloth...

This is what I do as well, or just spray water on the paper towel and clean, I don't like using windex on my screens.

I only use soft cloth to clean my LCD monitor. I clean it daily so that I don't have to use those chemicals to clean.

Oh, I'm too lazy to clean my monitor daily. Once a month is just fine

you should actually never "clean" your laptop monitor with any soluton, maybe other than alcohol...and even that i wouldnt use. i never physically clean the monito. use a compressed air can and dust it off only. if you have spots on the monitor, then i would suggest you altering your own habits to not get particles on the monitor itself.

but if you have no choice, monster sells a lcd cleaning kit and cloth package i would say works ok. i use it on my 42' lcd tv and i would use it on my laptop but i try hard to make sure there arent any smudges on the screen.

good advice, I have my new / very first laptop and am going to use the microfiber for now. Maybe after it loses its newness I might start doing it w/ windex and paper towels. I have an old pair of oakley glasses that I did that with and had no problems.
