hi, i want to format my nc10 samsung notebook and reinstall windows xp, but in the bios , it just says usb-cd N/A as the first bootup device. so im wondering why its not detecting my dvd rom drive with the windows xp cd in it at bootup. at this point, i wont be able to reinstall windows xp. any help GREATLY appreciated. thank you. derek

nevermind, i just tried a bunch of F keys, and hitting F5 at bootup makes it boot to the dvd rom drive. thanks. derek.

F5 Hmm! it's F8 on Toshiba and Compaq (HP) and F12 on my Dell
