My cousin has a HP Pavilion laptop and he loves it. Last night it accidentally fell down on the floor, thank God not any big damage. But now whenever he gonna plug the charger in, it shows that charger is plug-in, but not charging the battery. Wondering is there any way to fix this problem or he need send his laptop to a service shop?

Hi Friends,

I am having a similar problem and am convinced that it is a mechanical problem - the power jack is not connecting properly to the machine. I think u should just send it back to HP, which is the safest choice.

Why don't you want replace the broken part?

If the computer is under warranty back up any important files and send it in, if it is not under warranty, call your local repair shop and see what they say.
