Hi everyone, im now the new owner of a laptop...a compaq presario, 2 gb RAM, 2.1ghz AMD processor to be precise..... I bought it 7 days ago.
i have been experiencing diffilculties with the smoothness with which it runs...(whilst using prepaid broadband AND without using the internet) most of the time when i use it, it follows a pattern where every 45 seconds it buffers and causes any audio to make noise similar to white noise....it makes all video clips that i either download or put into the disk drive freeze and falter and it causes both my mouse and sensor pad to jitter and buffer uncontrolably.....all these technical problems occur at the same time for about 15 seconds every 45 seconds.....
however at other times like in the early morning or late nite, it runs fine...
our home still uses dial-up for our desktop and i dont know whether its an interference between the dial-up connection and my prepaid wireless... or if its because i live in dromana and my house is surrounded by trees and bushscrub....
remember tho its not just my internet that runs slow, my whole laptop in general has this problem...
so far i have learnt that these problems only occur when i use it at home.... anywhere else and it runs fine...
and one last thing. my sisters laptop is the same brand as mine and uses the same type of internet but she doesnt experience these problems.
