If you want to speed up Internet Explorer in Windows 7, follow the given instructions:
1. Click the Start Button.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Navigate to Accessories.
4. Right click on Command Prompt.
5. Select Run as administrator.
6. When the UAC prompt appears, select Yes.
7. Once you get command prompt, type the following: regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
8. Press Enter on your keyboard
9. A confirmation window will appear, click the OK button.

Re-registering the ActiveX interface library? Can you explain why this would speed up IE in Win7 other than a corrupt registry entry for this .dll?

i am using windows 7 and never used IE, just curious about IE on windows 7, is it that slow for us to speed up IE in our windows 7 ?

I was using Internet Explorer and found that it has a strong reputation as being the worst web browser available and the best thing would be to switch to another browser or trying out Windows 7 to speed up IE . I am thinking to ckeck this out.

Is this just suitable for win7? Other systems ok or not?
