There really havn't been what you would in old day a desktop. They are all towers of different heights and widths.

I have, starting about 10, year ago alway gone with a custom built machine.

I know I wouldn't get a Dell. I heard something bad about the capacitors Dell use awhile back.

i bought a custom from a private person several years ago....it was awesome for the money ....
But the trick is to find someone who really knows what they are doing and is happy with making a profit without trying to get rich from you....

I customized my own desktop. Its fairly easy to do as long as you know what you want and you know a lot when it comes to computer parts.

A custom built tower is the way to go whether you build the tower yourself or hire a professional, that way the computer will be tailored to suit your needs.
