no , i know many students are still using IE , although i havn't used it .

Well there are still many people,like me ,who are using IE.

There are still many websites that are not compatible with FF and other browsers... So i am the one who still use IE

Such as? I haven't run into a site that doesn't work in FF, Chrome or Safari in a very long time. Most of the time, sites are broken in IE.

IE still has a large user base, so to completely ignore it is kinda short-sighted in alienating so many people. I no longer support IE6, they will see ONLY content and a suggestion that they upgrade.

For me IE is too slow.. But I was surprise by the statistics, onky 2% of users have Opera. I like it. The only problem of it that it doesn't support plagins that are essential for me. So Firefox is the best )

I use Chrome 95% of the time with an IE TAb extension for testing sites. It displays web pages using IE in a tab within chrome. Used to use Firefox but now Chrome has pretty much all the extensions I need.

There is a reason why they call it IE (Pronounced eye yea). After you attempt to program CSS which work in every version of IE. You will be screaming eeeyyyyeee yyyeeeaaa out of the top of your lungs while pulling your hair out.

And heck no I don't use it.

Unless if I'm doing web development or I unfortunately end up on a site which won't work properly in FF, I don't use IE. It loads pages so slowly despite the fact that I'm using a broadband connection. I never have this problem in FF or Opera. IE8's GUI is too cluttered compared to that of FF and even Chrome. Those Web Slices sounded like a good idea but I still don't really understand how to use them and honestly I doubt I need them anyways.

I like using Chrome, it runs fast. But these days, I am trying to use IE8. It always freezes after I open lots of website..

I think a good designer takes all platforms into account. Its the worst when your satisfied with your work, and someone tells you they can't view it right, especially a potential client!!!!!

I assume that IE as most used the packaged computer w / installed it and people do not realize there's something else will come. I know that I always or family / friends computer to download Chrome District'm using them whenever I see IE or Safari.

i replaced my IE with Google chrome and Firefox. i don't use ie that often.

This is really amazing to know more about it. Lots of people use it now as their secondary browser and remember one thing that pioneers can never be thrown out ... like IE is pioneer and people are still using it altough we have firefox n chrome which are fastest n even better.

Some are still using IE. And most of this users are office workers.
