I was searching on Amazon.com for a new computer and narrowed it down to these two. One has a monitor and the other doesn't. Which one would you pick?

Wouldn't it be better to go to Dell's website and study everything they have?

When I bought mine I spent time there, reading all the specifications etc until I found exactly what I wanted. I chose the Inspiron 1545 laptop and I'm pretty happy with it, but it depends what your needs are.

Even if you don't buy from their site, you'll get the chance to learn just what's available.

compare the 2. would say go for the fastest cpu setup.

You need to go through all the specifications of both systems. Then compare each specification one by one, you will yourself be able to pick best one for you. Good Luck

Id personally go for the one without the monitor.

Its got an Nvidia GFX card and the CPU is faster. ( 3.20GHz Intel Core i5-650 ) compared to a 2.8ghz AMD

This is quite subjective as you need to do a comparative analysis as what you are looking at..Good Luck for that!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I always wanted to get a Dell XPS. It looks like it will last me a long time.

First of all go through the configuration for ur purpose of use

but i would say buy the XPS its good configured ,yes without screen is a weak point for this

Choose the high configured C.P.U with 3.20GHz Intel Core or more with dual core or more,select TB hard disks if you are using it for company purpose..Buy original software of xp..to get rid of any issue or less compatibility.

I think it depends on your requirements and your preference. But I prefer the one with the monitor.

Talking about lasting long . . . The DELL XPS laptops are crap, they have graphics issues etc. I just hope the XPS desktop lasts more longer.

You also have to its tendency to heat up especially during the summer.

you should buy the Dell inspiro . It has a great result .And I am using this computer since last two year and their is a no problem .
