I'm using Windows XP and planning to upgrade my OS to Windows Vista..

What are the most common problems people have with Windows Vista?

You do know that Windows 7 came out over a year ago?

Dont go near windows vista.

Its one BIG problem.

Vista is like WindowsME and will be forgotten in a few years.

I've had very little problem with vista - but now windows 7 is out i wouldn't bother with it (vista) anymore

All sound advice, personally I am still running Windows XP myself and plan on going to Windows 7, skipping Vista completely. Plus save you money also.

I have Vista and have not had any problems...(yet)..

But if you are good to upgrade....why not go all the way?

dude i m working on Vista and on other laptop i have Windows 7 and both r working smothly
people used vista when thr systems were not upgraded to its level so they faced the problem get a good configured system and run the Vista

after my xp i jump to win. 7. my bro. said his laptop runs vista and its runs slow, and it eats up more space on your hard drive.

The most common question is that many people had been accustomed windows XP,but not accustome about win 7....

Well...i use Vista and i have no problems with it, but for my work i use W7, it is a better, but i like the quote of Sheldon: "W7 is much more friendly to users than Vista, Idont like it"!)))

The only problem I had with Vista (besides the beta, very buggy) was the amount of time it took to do updates. I didn't personally notice it much on my personal computer, but when I worked on other people's computers, it literally took over a day to finish updating them.

Not to mention Windows 7 is far superior in every aspect, and is a much better/newer OS all around. I'd say just skip Vista altogether.
