Anyone know how to configure my laptop as DNS Server?

Install a Windows server OS or a Linux server OS on the laptop

If my laptop is connected to several other home networks (wired/wireless) and one of the client is acting as server, then
-> If someone is requesting a webpage(from the client acting as web-server) I should be able to resolve the hostname.

Any software applications? , like "xampp" for configuring PC as web-server.

Only if all the other clients on the network(s) are configured to use your local IP as their primary DNS server.

Thanks for the information, but can you tell me "Is there any applications like 'xampp' (for configuring as web-server) for configuring as dns-server?
