Here are two links to get rid of the auto run virus on your hard drive, and you won't have to reinstall windows. I think the first link could be your best bet.

You could try to remove it from autorun.

Go Start-Run. Then Type msconfig and hit Enter. Go to the Autorun Tab in the window which has appeared, find the virus - usually it is some unknown file which is run from unusual HDD location relatively to the other files. Remove the tick, and restart computer. Press OK in the window appeared after startup. Perform antivirus cleaning.

Entering the system in a safe mode could also help, but there are some viruses which have resistance to such cure.

Go to Windows, then Run, and type "cmd" .
Press enter
Type "cd\"
Press enter
once in the c:\ directory type "attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf"
Press enter
Type "del autorun.inf"
Press enter

Do this in all your drives such as d:\, e:\ and so on

Reboot your computer once done.

I suppose that is better to load your system in safe mode and then after that you will be able to remove that.
Also I think you can do the search for that virus and most likely you will be able to find to-do list for that one.
