I have a WHM account and it's reaching its limit. Yeah, I can upgrade and will but it got me thinking... Could I bill in a fairer way and as I have worked alone for so many years I just wanted to throw it out there.

Currently I have space for "X" number of accounts and divide the resources "Y" by the number of available accounts. Any new client pays a proportion of this dependant on the resources they might need.

I'm considering the following...

Open up ALL the resources to all the clients and then bill them dependant upon the amount of actual resources consumed on a monthly basis.

Or...

Is there a better way...?

So you want to move over to a Pay-Per-Use type of system? I don't see the need to.
It should be up the client to decide how much they use. If they pay for 200MB of bandwidth, it doesn't matter if they use it, they are giving you money for it.

Going to Pay-Per-Use will cut down on your profits and won't give your clients peace of mind.
