The race is getting more wild as HP also plans adding to the league of Ultra portable laptop series along with other major players like Asus, Apple Mac etc. HP might launch at least two Ultra books using Intel's 1.8GHz Core i7 2677M and 1.7GHz i7 2637M processors. We can expect the launch of Asus UX21 anytime and also Apple Mac Book Air is going for revivification to accommodate new features. So, HP Ultra book will surely be a lighter, faster PC with more productivity. To add more smoke to the fire, there was an advertisement on Google ad network in support of this information.

I think it is too late for HP. With the CEO replacement even, the company seems like it doesn't have the consumer in mind. The company is all enterprise and seems to be going the way of IBM now.
