I didn't want to disappoint Chris so here's a link to Apple's page on the Find my iPad app
However you did need to set up the app before losing the iPad in order to track it. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do after the fact. Your best bet is probably going into an Apple store and asking at the genius bar. Assuming you've registered your iPad through iTunes there might be some way for Apple to track where it is.
