Only one monitor here A single, old, 17" CRT.

I had two for about 4 months, because my buddy let me borrow one of his. But I had to give it back

Well, you can get a 4screen setup for $4,300 - blogged about it a few days ago. Personally I only use one, but I am on a laptop.

My friend used two, but they're two taky CRTs which just isn't the same as a TFT

Why would any one want dual monitors? Is there any real advantage or is it just another means to show off?

Try it!

You won't cope going back to a single monitor.

Just got a second for myself. Now I've got a 20.1" widescreen LCD, and my old 17" CRT.
