I use my laptop (intel video card) + 17 ACER LCD. Its very usable.

Only one monitor here A single, old, 17" CRT.

I had two for about 4 months, because my buddy let me borrow one of his. But I had to give it back

only one 19" CTR...

i want two 21" TFT's but.. lacking money those things are xpensive!

as fair as I know, matrox already does tirpple head. Plus they do a pciex1 gfx card

Well, you can get a 4screen setup for $4,300 - blogged about it a few days ago. Personally I only use one, but I am on a laptop.

My friend used two, but they're two taky CRTs which just isn't the same as a TFT

I do. I use two 20" dell flat panel monitors.

im thinking for plasma 42" it will be more pretty cool than dual monitors 17"

Why would any one want dual monitors? Is there any real advantage or is it just another means to show off?
