This is going to sound like a stunningly stupid series of questions, but I was brought into this discussion/problem in the middle and I really don't understand much about Microsoft CRM. A client of mine is going to want me to figure it out and hopefully deploy/maintain it, and I don't even know where to begin.
This is what I appear to understand: - Microsoft CRM integrates with Outlook to provide tracking mechanisms for sales, service and marketing campaigns.
- Microsoft CRM requires SQL Server and is incredibly resource-heavy.
- Microsoft CRM is easily customizable, although I can't find a single demonstration to back this claim up.
The question is: what else, if anything, does it do? And how customizable is it? Thanks.
