Notice how the text fails to format according to Google, and instead
resolves to 12pt Times? Every site is like that, my browser will not
accept the font settings from the host, why is that?

If you're seeing the same font on all sites you probably have your browser set to use your fonts instead of the site's font choice. It depends on which browser you use as to exactly where to change that, but it should be in the browser settings.

If you let us know which browser you use I'm sure someone will let you know where the setting is pretty fast.

Well since the topic of the thread is IE6, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume...IE6.

nfl2k22: go into Tools-->Internet Options. From the General tab (the one that should be showing), click the "Accessibility" button and make sure everything there is unchecked.

Let me know what happens.
