Hello,
Over the past few days, i have noticed that sometimes when i type in an address into Internet Explorer or Opera then press go, the web browser doesnt take me to that site, it usually takes me to a site in my history, which i have visited before, it also only changes the domain that it directs to. So i had typed in something.com/hello.html the browser would direct me to somethingelse.com/hello.html, and would show a 404 error, if it didnt exist.

I have ran my Anti-Virus scanner and Spyware Scanner, which both found nothing.

Thanks
Mark

Check your systems host file. If you are running WinXP try running the ipconfig command to flush dns. ipconfig /flushdns

Hope this helps.

That is about what I would suggest as well. It could be however that your browser is corrupted. You might want to think about running a fresh install to see if that helps it at all.

Best of luck!
