Personally myself I use ewido spyware scanner or AVG Spyware scanner as it is now known is great removes most spyware

Chronicles, windows defender is good but only if you have a legal MS operating system... Not that any of us don't... but, you know...

I am using Spybot Search and Destroy for many months now. And till date I have not faced any problem. I update the signature files sometimes and then re run the check.. There is another one which is also good Ad Aware.

I use AdAware and Spybot Search and Destroy for spyware and adware removal, and also Hijack This for special cases that need to be removed manually. Works great for me!

Cool I wouldn't recommend Hijack this for begineers as is something that requires abit of knowledge or you could do damage

I read that "trojan guarder gold" is a good trojan remover.

Has anyone tried it?

About Hijackthis is really good and it's free.

I see nobody mentioned mcafee. I use it with no problem. The free version.

I'd appreciate any reply about the Trojan guarder gold. If it has a free version, better.
