I got my mac about 2 months ago and am lovin' it. But as I'm "new" to the platform I don't yet know about all of the cool software available.

So if you use a Mac, list what kind of programs you use. I'm particulalry interested in FTP and IRC apps. On Windows I loved FlashFXP for FTP'ing and the best for the Mac I have found has been YummyFTP. There's always a big fuss over Transmit but when I tried it, I hated it. And then I loved mIRC for IRC, but now I'm stuck with X-Chat Aqua (it's good, but I still like mIRC ).

Anyway, if there's one program so far that I'd say try out for sure it is Path Finder. I think the default Finder totally sucks and seeking out a replacement was one of the first things I did.
