Hey i love showing off my pc and what i have, so why not share what ur pc has? lets see who has the best/worst pc!

mine cost me $5000 round about when I first got in the process of upgrading it again probaly cost me about $7000 this time

I wish i has that money to spend on my pc.
i built mine got xp pro off my nabour. so i didnt have to pay the £250 i would have if i had bought it.

all the bts mus have cose about £400 and i prob have around £1000 worth if bought in a shop with everythin it has on it.

I just added a 200GB HHDD to it, which is slower than my 160GB disk.. and an extra cooler for both disks. Next thing will be the processor, so i can play minesweeper without lagging.

I forgot to mention the Phillips TV turner, the Genius 5.1 sound card + speakers + wireless mouse + wireless keyb combo and a floppy drive which ive used only once to flash my xbox360.

That isnt a server just my normal PC I always want the best for myself

flipping hell i know of major companies that have like 100's of thousands of hits a day on crapper computers than yours... you could EASILY have that set up as a server for a good 20 casul sites with out noticeing any decrese in cpu etc and speed... i would if i was you all u would have to do is have it on 24-7 lol make a bit of dosh for it while its sitting there.

i would but i am not allowed to have it on 24/7 lmao.

haha I own a web hosting company which I have a TB of space so I dont really need to use this for that :P I just use it aas my gaming machines

i saw a episode (the only episode i watched all the way through...) or Pimp my ride uk

and what the did (other than make it look good) the put a 7" touchscreen which was connected to her laptop in the boot so the screen like controled the laptop etc and showed what the laptop screen would show anyway.

they made a stand thing in the boot for her laptop and also the had a terrabite of space (for BIG hdds in the boot) (space for over a million songs!.... drool) the look on her face i would have just wanted the computer stuff

I started this post on my site and even got a few good posts is interesting to see what people have. Man I wish I had members like u guys on my site that are this active about pcs

lol loads of music though 150 greenday songs. and 100's of other rock
last time i cheacked i had 4,220 songs/music videos and thats 13GB's and it growing by about half a gb a day lmao!

okay im going to go off on one and spil my goal... its sad i know...

okay when i get my oen place my ideal technologie is...

A computer room, with a top server with say a 300GB's of space this i would use as my webserver which i would host my own site files and also sell the space, this webserver will be using linux., then i would also have a second server with say a TB of space, this server will store ALL my music/video/dvd files, this maybe windows.
i then want a mac laptop, and also a windows laptop.

with the windows laptop i plan to use as the entertanment outlet, to in say the living room i would have a data projector, and a great sound system which will all be wired in and then i can plug the lap top in on the site and use a remote control to use this laptop to feed all my entertainment from the entertainment server into my living room. i will prob have some form of windows media center on the laptop... so i will get all my music/dvd/video/TV through th server....

well i have say 10 years to get there.... (im 14) hehe

i feed all my music through my surround system, and video through my computer, (i would also be using my computer for TV but the card i brought was crap and the software just wouldnt work right, i tried everything so i guess im gonna have to wait and get another lol)

i dont think so looking at how prices of the equiptment has dropped so much in the last few years...

Data projector say 5 years ago £1500 now £5-600,
decent surround system a few years ago £150 minimum
now say £100 minum
okay so i know the servers are prob gonna cost a BOMB! even in ten years... say £7000 for both?
a couple of 19" tfts for the servers.... say £250
