I have a problem in windows. I am using XP Home with IE7. I cannot access certain web sites eg Microsoft, Live Messenger, My Personal Bank Home Page, etc. I have been told that tis may be a javascript problem. Does any body have any idea what this could be.

You are going to have to provided a LOT more information than that if anyon is going to have any chance of helping you.

In what way can you "not access" these websites? What happens when you go there?

More than likely the problem is coming from the security settings for IE. Go to Tools, Options, then poke around in the Security and Advanced tabs, you'll find settings for allowing/disallowing javascript in both places.
