Are you connecting wireless to the internet? Most handheld phones operate over the same frequency as wireless and can interrupt the signal. It used to happen to me all the time until I bought a phone that operates over a different frequency.

With my last phone every time the phone rang my wireless got interrupted. My new phone operates on a different frequency and it hasn't happened since. My internet connection gets dropped for a lot of other reasons, but my phone doesn't seem to be one of them anymore.

If you call the support for your wirless router they will help you fix that. There are some settings that need to be changed in the router.

sleepy127 is right. There's a channel ID (SSID) that you can change that I believe is the factor in your case.

Almost...

The ssid is your network id in fact. But you're right, you can change a channel, and this will change the radio frequency used by your wifi network.

You can easily change the channel your router is broadcasting over, but it's still going to be in a certain range of frequencies. It's possible that would help with the phone, but your phone may still be operating over those same frequencies.

I'm not sure it's an ideal solution, but it's worth a try.
