My pc is infected with this Yahoo messenger Virus. My messenger sends virus links to all my contacts. I tried all possibles ways to remove this virus but is seems to over ride all.

It has disabled my task manager, it has disabled my administrator account, I cant run safe mode, my MSconfig was disabled, the run option on my start menu was removed, uninstalles firefox browser autumaticaly, home page on IE was reset and i cant change it back and it override my avg virus scan.

I have tried all possible ways i can find on the net, but it seems to over ride all solutions. I dont know what to do!

I think i have to remove it manually, though i cant get to safe mode.

I think I have to get rid of the svhost32.exe file on c://windows/system32 but I cant remove it, it says it is being used by another program.

Please... does anyone know how to remove it?

you cant remove the svhost.exe file. it is Operating system file. go to nortons official website and perform a full system scan there. that shoul do the trick
