hello everybody. i need help with msn. my best friend moved to manchester and texted me to tell me to get msn because she has it, but she didnt give me here msn address!. so i got msn, (windows messanger) but because of the reception where i live, i cant get in touch to get her email address. then somebody at work told me i could search for her using 'net messanger service', and i logged on to msn and found that this was true! so i entered her first and last name, and left the country/region menu to 'any', and the search for this person at as 'net messanger service'. i was really pleased because i thought this would work, but it didnt, and i thought it could just be her, but then i tried to search for somebody as they was sat on the computer next to me, logged into msn, and it still said:
'operation could not be completed, your search failed for an unkown reason'
i also have windows live messanger as well as windows messanger, could this affect it?
can you please tell me how to fix this so that i can search for other msn users without actually knowing their email address. thanks in advance  |
