Alot of anti-viruses will not clean a computer cause alot of the time the virus is undeteced (new) and therefore plants roots in your computer, only when it is found will you have a chance to stop it, and even then it may never be rid of.

Yes... go for AVG.. I was using Mcafee... I noted that my computer is a bit slower than before... i scan my whole computer but found nothing.... i downloaded AVG free version.. and it detects 4 trojan horses in my computer.... my vote goes for AVG as well

Will AVG or any other free antispyware / antivirus work with Vista? Vista is pretty picky and won't even install a year old copy of Norton.

Change your antivirus system.. Try other antivirus program. By the way have you updated your antivirus?
