I don't know which one is the best but I hope AVG is one of the best antivirus

Clamwin isn't bad for free. I use it on one of my machines and I've had no problems with it yet.

I used to be an avid fan of Avast and had been using it for the past 2 years. Recently however, I switched over to NOD32 and found it to be alot better in terms of resources being freed up because of it being so lightweight, and also better definitions and signature updates.

i use NOD32

I personally would not go with a free one. I have had a look at them in the past and found quite a few contained malaware etc. I am pretty tight with security now, but I come from self taught computer and then I connected to the net. And did the world have fun with me !

I use Vet AV.

I found this very interesting, because I started off with Norton and had heaps of probs. The fix they sent me actually crashed me completely. Anyway, to cut a long story short, the techys that came to my home all ran both the latest Norton + also Vet. I found that Vet picked up a lot more but Norton identified only a few. Vet found 83 extra.

I've had good results with both Avast and AVG(not at the same time of course). Use one of those + Spybot/Adaware/Spyware Blaster and it seems to take care of most problems for me

I prefer with AVG . Fast downloading for updating .. Its can makes your PC running smoothly. Don't forget to install Spyware Doctor for better security.

Currently I am using Antivir Antivirus and It has been the best Antivirus I have ever used. Its so fast, PC loads much faster and very safe. I recommend this to all.

I have been using the full paid version of AVG antivirus and it works very well with scheduled scans, antispyware program
My PC never got in trouble after AVG is installed.

AVG is one I use and often put on computers I'm setting up for people. They have a free home version you can simply download.

avg for me is great although i used the 30 day trial, i have no issues with it. for my experience, bit defender is waaaay to slow. i only have a 2.2ghz dual core and 2 gig ram with vista. i just happened to disaprove its speed. anyway im using kaspersky now, its great although i only used the antivirus and not the complete package, its also a great AV in my opinon.

i think Norton anti-virus is good. i had been using for many years and i still think its the best out there.

along with avg. i would like to state that viruses are less likely to spread on Vista machines. i had better days when i switched to a new OS. sure it may be a resource hog but it can do its job fairly well.

I use Avast and AVG. However I strongly recommend McAffee. It is the best out there IMO.

never use a free antivirus... every good thing has its cost. so buy a quality antivirus for your pc.... Mcafee is a good choice

for me kaspersky is the best!!!! im using it for almost 2 years now..it never failed me..

Use AVG FREE VERSION

i thinks its not also about the best of a anti virus...if you more familiar with the software that you are using and that you can maximize the things in one packaged thats the important part...for you that anti virus that your using will the best..
