I currently have somewhere around 300 sites up and running. The vast majority are no-maintenance mini-sites.

As far as larger, maintenance-is-required sites I have 4.

i'm currently running 2 small sites. a proxy and an arcade site that are doing ok. i haven't really had a chance to promote them more but i'll get around to it whenever i finish summer school.

I'm running 8 at the moment and 4 in the pipeline ready to turn to profit over the next 12 months, I'm a fan of outsourcing as much of the donkey work as possible so that I can bring new projects online.

Just the 5. I'd never have 20+ sites personally, all of my sites are popular and successful - Id rather have a small number of popular sites that I can update reguarly rather than lots of small sites that I don't have time for. But that's just me

I currently have just one website but am struggling trying to get traffic to it and monetizing it properly. I'm not much of a multitasker so it's hard for me to try and juggle multiple sites at once. I'd rather just put all my heart, sweat, and tears into one site and a time and give it all I've got.

I have 5 but most of them are just sitting there and I have not put any time into. Only 2 of my sites are really "up" but this summer I plan to get them all up and running.

I can sympathise with the desire to do one thing really well, but it's a bad business move. If that site doesn't do well, you don't make money. As industries change, the site could be ultra hot one day and dead the next.

I think putting all your eggs in one basket is as bad an idea as spreading yourself too thin. Have a few (5-10) sites that are all working to bring income. That way if one site fails, your income drops 10-20%, not to zero.
