Around 20 sites for me. But I make ALOT of sites which I sell straight away or after they age a bit if I sell a domain with them.
I make around 5 new sites per week, thats hand made, not generated.

I have about 65 sites.

Really I would be more impressed by 2 or 3 that were optimized and getting lots of traffic. I am trying to let go of the volume of sites and instead get some good volume out of one at a time

I thing a key word here is "run".

It is a lot harder to "run" 30 sites, versus own them.
And of course the traffic on the site makes a big difference too.

I sell many of my sites when they become earners. Currently around 30 of my own sites with daily traffic that I actually "run". Another 10-12 in development. I also run another 10 or so client sites across the spectrum.
