What helps a lot is working with somebody else's material. I started as a translator but then spent about two years editing various texts at a publishing house. Editing is definitely a very powerful tool that makes you a much better writer.

You could always write your articles in your native language and ask someone (or hire) to translate the articles.
I´m thinking in hiring someone, because I usually write very long articles (over 1500-2000 words) and I can spend the next 2-3 days proofreading.
Sadly, in many cases, it still has a lot of errors.

Which means I will produce much fewer articles on the long run.

I was always good at English at school, and could always punch out an essay or long exam answer with relative ease and speed.
I'm now putting those skills to actual real world use, and writing 10 or so articles per day on a wide variety of subjects.
Some are used on my own websites, some are saved for the sites I will be offering in my membership service.
