Hi all,

I'm wanting to build a few more QUALITY websites, but can't really think of any original niches i know enough about.

Does anyone have any ideas of websites that are not very common but are interesting and that i will be able to research in detail on the web, in books and by asking around to make a quality website based around it?

PM me if you want things to send private ideas.

Cheers, Tom

In my opinion, you should not go asking other people what YOUR niche should be. If someone else has an idea then they might be using it... if you find it on a website, obviously there will be other websites within that niche maybe forming some tough competition. Just try to find something you enjoy and know enough about to create some good content.

If you want to put some work behind a niche, you need to enjoy the topic, as Pat suggested.

Then it comes the time for nicheing in a niche, though. If you like widgets, do a research and maybe there won't be online material for buzzing widgets.

On a side note, here are a couple of articles : The Niche Guide and What exactly to write about: content ideas example.
