Hi all,

So. The title said it: i am desperate!

I have one great domainname: megarooms.com.
At least that`s what i think. In my opinion the name alone is at least worth high xxx to low x,xxx.

But. I want to develop it. Only problem is that i am out of brilliant ideas

I have been thinking about pokerrooms, chatrooms, upload site, webcamrooms....

You get the idea. None of the above are really something that i think would fit the name.

So i turn to you. What would you suggest? What would you think if you would be shown the name megarooms.com? The first thing that pops up?

I do not want to get into gambling. That`s for sure. Too saturated market already. Travel is an option but the same goes as for gambling.

Who can help me out? I`m going crazy!

How about a home decor site/home and room renovations and make-overs with a forum? Good potential for affiliates products, etc...

How about a contest where people submit pictures of their bedrooms and have other people vote on it...and see who can have the ultimate, cool room.

When I hear megaroom I think of a luxuary room in a luxuary hotel. A luxuary room equiped with a Jacuzi, a DVD Player. Like the ultimate room

You can create an adsense content site about all the mega rooms in the best hotel around the world. Believe me this can create some buzz around your site.

How about creating a site with architectural blueprints of awesome house designs or some floorplans of awesome yet affordable rooms? It might be too specific of a niche though.

Use WordTracker and find a niche from there. Rule of thumb, the higher the KEI the better it is to build your niche around it.

WordTracker is FREE to use. Just register for a free trial and recycle it everytime you want to research a new niche for yourself.

make sure you surf around and net and have a look at other successful businesses you notice. Really have a look into why their website is successful

1) why do they have the layout they do?.
2) What content is situated on their page, and why?
3) do they make excellent use on the psycholgy of reading - top to bottom, left to right?
4) how to they utilise colors and text, and placement?

get some of their good ideas and think about how you can utilise them in your site before you or someone else creates it.

Honestly the first thing that came to mind was very large bedrooms, but I don't know if that would be a good niche for you...

some of the most popular niches i.e. your niche...just go out there and study why their site is successful

its not a hard process. remember that it is really about traffic > offer > sales > backend sales so no matter how extensive your research the most successful website is going to be the one that does this the best with content and layout all contributing factors.
