I am looking for a solution to filter multiple RSS feeds before they get to me. I run multiple Open Source and non-Open Source products and I want a better way to keep track of the security.

Thanks!

What exactly are you trying to filter out of these RSS feeds?

Bad words? Competitive content? Spam?

I only want to see the RSS feeds associated with certain software applications. IE VBulliten, Invision Power Board, Joomla, WordPress, etc....

I want to track multiple vulnerability website feeds, but I don't want to see everything. I know I can do this on a local reader, but I have a personal website I use for development and I would like to show it there.

Hmmmm, I tried looking on google but most of the information stated there was about, what it seemed to be, full API's handling this kind of thing. I'm not exactly sure how you would go about doing that.

Don't know if you are still looking for information on this but here are some sites that may help you out. I can't post urls yet so I had to break them up. No affiliation with these. Just google research.

feedrinse . com - Filtering service.

bytescout . com / rss2htmlscout . html - RSS2HTML Scout library - For ASP/ASP.NET. Can convert ot HTML and filter based on positive/negative keywords.

allrss . com / rssremixers . html - huge list of rss resources. Many look like they might help you.

Good Luck.

I do not know if this post will make you happy or sad.

What you want is possible. Check out vbfeeds.com. They take various feeds from visual basic programmers and filter the feed to only show posts relevant to VB. They are able to filter out all the "I had toast for breakfast" and the "I saw this great movie last night" posts. You might want to check with that group to see if that is something they wrote or if it is something you can purchase.
