If you think second one can provide a value in the future, then you shoud keep it too. And if you will open a forum, why dont you buy a domain which has forums keyword in it. It will be easier to promote it to search engines in that case.
I think you have chosen the correct time to remodel the second site. I support the idea of forum because you can do business from the forum you are planning to develop, Getting traffic is not a problem either.
yeah i can take alot of work to maintain sites on a daily basis
here is why you are not taking the right approach
i have lost thousands of $$$ becaues I have started one project and not got it up and automated before I started the second...its a curse that many of us face.
once you have something up and running ask yourself am i making sales...two ask yourself is it worth going on.....sometime you will have to move on. otherwise if your hit it on the head keep striving to make it better dont just keep chopping and changing around all the time...you will lose tons of money that way
remember you creating a real business herre not a happy go lucky hobbie....the downright reason is to make money so work hard at it just on one thing...when you have mastered this and making good money on autopilot move to your next venture. I have created much success doing this and I know you might be new to the internet but if you follow this model also you will get therre and succeed in the end.
