A good example would be if you look at my first post on this thread and this post there have been a total of six posts and 4 of them have been mine. This did not happen a lot before.

This forum is slower than it once was, and I am working to correct that. Feel free to share any ideas you have or insight. I am always grateful for advice or feedback.
It was easier to see the main topics and new posts. Now I have to click the forum tab and browse down the side form the topics I like then check them for new posts.

This is still a young site, As long as there is updated quality content, I don't see this site dieing anytime soon
Plus the new style and navigation my have pushed some users off ?
It will take time, but I feel it'll bounce back for sure
cheers

My thoughts exactly. Since the "redesign" (cough, sitepoint rip off), I have come here about 3 times. I am frustrated with this new infastructure
The myspace section is bustling beacause it is original and isn't the same ol' rehash about content, links, content, links, blogs, review my site, wordpress, content, review my site, directories, wordpress, content, review my site over and over
Some people don't like change - the recent changes upset me a bit (upset as in habitually, not as in emotionally) so I think that may have something to do with it, but other than that, it seems to be a happily busy forum.
Yeah the activity hasn't dropped it just mainly stays focused in the myspace section where there's not a lot of mindless webmaster newbie questions and review my site crap, but more real talk about strategies to make money.
The reason all the other niche sections haven't taken off as much is mainly due to lack of expertise in those sections IMO. Plus, in the other really lucrative sections like CPA, it's actually wiser to keep things to yourself because you're constantly out there every day competing with others in the market. So the smart big earning people in CPA and arbitrage aren't helping anyone.
to many people hold back on info that can help others.no one is really going to give that info away when they're making money with it. its like handing money over. this is turning into a myspace forum and nothing else gets discussed. even for me (that im in the proxy business) i don't see any proxy topics or people asking about them.
its hard to say why its slow but if you compare it to digitalpoint , you can see the difference in sharing right away.

If you're an expert in that area why not start some good threads yourself.
You don't even have to write articles just talk about your trials and errors as a proxy owner. Bandwidth issues, server usage, promotion successes etc.
