A good technique to get good at writing is to practice rewriting PLR articles in your own words. After awhile you will get more confident and be able to write your own original articles.

Lol awesome, I could have a salesletter for you then....I did a test on two sales pages and the one with 20 swearwords got a better conversion of sales so it goes to show that shocking your prospects does work.....now while i would advise against using the F word, if you do some test and find that it start pulling and getting you more sales go with it. It depends on your niche but

I found out from a friend selling stuff to the bikie market that lots of swear words work well - because its the common language they use each day to talk with each other, but also they see it on a web page and chuckle and it communicates with them and kind of hypnotizes them to buy!

I already had great grammar and spelling skills from school and reading books but to learn to write in such a way to capture people's attention and make your words flow smoothly I just spent many hours reading lots of material online about writing content for websites.

I wish I was a better writer. I have a great vocabulary but my sentence structure sucks. I don't want to sound like an English major, but I would like to write to the level of an average magazine writer.

Any pointers?

Paying attention in class.. guess those years are finally paying off.
I also learn a lot from reading other peoples articles as mentioned above.

I think college is the best place to learn. Of course, practice improves your writing skills over time.
