Hello!

I was wondering if you knew of any easy , free CMS out there (I'm not sure if that's the term I should be using) that my clients and colleagues can use to edit the sites I create for them without having to be technical.

What I'm thinking of is something whereby they log into the website using a browser and then access the pages of the site and can change or add text and photos.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!

Thanks a bunch,

Joomla's pretty easy to use and has a lot of widgets and add-ons available.

If your format is blog or e-zine based, look into WordPress as well. You can add users and control their permissions. There are widgets that make adding photos, audio and video easier.

Another option is a forum. There are several reasonable forum services available. Right now I'm "playing" with PHP, but I know there's at least one that is set up specifically for images.

Apache Lenya is both free and open source.

It has a well documented API so, it's pretty easy to develop for.
